Calendar Clock · effective October 23, 2026

Calendar Clock is a desktop widget for KDE Plasma that shows Google Calendar events in the panel clock. This policy explains what it does with your Google data. In short: the data stays on your computer.

What it accesses

When you connect a Google account, Calendar Clock asks for a single permission, read-only access to Google Calendar (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.readonly). With it, the widget reads:

To find the meeting link of Zoom, Teams and similar invitations, the widget looks at the event's location and description. Only the link it finds is kept.

It cannot create, change or delete anything in your calendars.

How it is used

Only to show your events and meeting links in the widget on your own screen. It is not used for advertising, profiling, analytics, or training of any kind.

Where it is stored

Everything stays on your computer, readable only by your user account:

Sharing

Calendar Clock has no server. It only talks to Google, over encrypted connections, to sign in and to read your calendars. Your data is not sent to the developer or to anyone else, and is not sold or transferred.
